Ozil has been completely frozen out by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta this season having failed to appear in a squad in any competition this season. Ozil has not played for the Gunners since March and was left out of the Gunners’ 25-man Premier League squad and Europa League team as well after the closing of the transfer windows. It clearly indicates the 32-year-old will not play for the club until January at least and his career at Arsenal appears to be over.
Many have called for the German to be moved on due to a lack of playing time but he insists he will not be pressured into finding a new club.
Ozil, however, insists that only he will decide when he leaves the Gunners and will continue to fight for his place in the first team until he is no longer under contract.
