House maid loses job for calling her boss a Yahoo boy

 A young Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate how a lady he helped with a cleaning job branded him a fraudster.

The man simply known as Bisi, revealed that he contacted the lady through the phone to come over to clean his place, however as the conversation ended, unknown to her that he had not cut the call, she went on to make a statement that shocked him.

While the line was still open, someone at her end asked who called and she mentioned that it is the yahoo boy she works for, unfortunately for her, Bisi overheard her.

The young lad then revealed how disappointed he was to hear her tag him a yahoo boy considering how he has helped her with job, rent and food.

He disclosed that he would no longer be needing her services.

Taking to his Twitter account, @Biisi96 wrote;

‘‘Me: hello please come around

”Woman who cleans for me: okay sir.

I’m busy so I can’t end the call. She doesn’t also.

Someone asks her who the caller is.

”Her: awon brother yahoo ti mo man ba sise yen ni (“That guy that does yahoo that I work for“)

”This is someone I’ve helped with rent, food and more.

The job she does for me, it’s not even bcos I can’t clean. I only give it to her because I feel like she needs the money.

”Never for once did you ask what I do for a living but you don run assume.

”Anyway, me I no Dey call am again sha. No yahoo money again. Efcc don collect am”

War in the land as man finds out wife lied about being virgin on wedding night

 A newly wedded couple’s marriage is on the brink of collapse owing to a shocking revelation the woman made on their wedding night.

The couple reportedly got married first week in January and the bride all through their 3 years courtship told her man that there would be no sexual intimacy till marriage.

The lady made her man believe that she is a virgin but this, it was later discovered to be a false tale.

She maintained the lie up until their wedding day, when she informed her husband that she is not a virgin but that she was raped by her uncle few weeks before they met.

A Twitter user @akphies shared the story on the microblogging platform with the words;

”This couple got married just last weekend and the marriage is about to crash. They dated for 3 years and she insisted no sex until after marriage because she was a virgin. She confessed she wasn’t a virgin that night that she was raped by her uncle few weeks before they met.”

A Nigerian woman has raised the bar for other women in relationships this year after she ordered a box which contains iPhone 12 Pro Max, perfumes and other gifts worth N865,000 for her lover ahead of Valentine’s day.

A Twitter user with username @Fel_Steve took to the microblogging platform to share screenshots of the conversation he had with the lady who bought the expensive gifts from him.

In their chat, the female customer told @Fel_Steve that she wanted the N865k box and asked him to list the items in it.

Prophet seen performing rituals for suspected Yahoo Boys by spraying money on them in a river (See Video)

 

An Anambra based Prophet, Onyeze Jesus, has been captured on camera performing  money ritual on some Nigeria young men in a river.

During the alleged money ritual, the prophet strongly warned them not to dare look back as he prayed for them to be blessed with uncommon wealth.

According to Onyeze Jesus who recited incantations in Igbo language, that act of spraying money into the river was a way of sacrificing to “Agbara”, the marine spirit inherent in the water.

He said the more money he sprayed into the river as they bathed, the more wealth that will be accrued to them in no distant time.

A lady is currently in a state of emotional wreck after her boyfriend absconded with N500,000 she gave him as seed capital to start his own business.

She shared her ordeal with relationship adviser, Joro Olumofin.

According to the lady, she met her man about two years ago, and discovered later that he unemployed when she persistently asked him about the work he does.

She revealed that at some point they were discussing business ideas and it was then that her man spoke about starting a farm in Ghana.

The lady then thought it wise to invest in the man. She said she gave him half a million naira only for him to start ignoring her and moved to Ghana without telling her.

When she discovered and reached out to him, he gave excuses upon excuses.

Man deeply heartbroken and in pain after finding out the baby isn’t his just 6 months after his wife gave birth

 A man is currently in a heartbroken state after finding out that the baby he celebrated few months ago may actually not be his.

The man with Twitter handle @ceorashad_ discovered that his wife may have played a fast one on him concerning the paternity of the child he thought was his.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Rashad made a rather dramatic announcement by an quoting an earlier tweet where he bought a designer bag and other items as push gifts for his wife.

In the earlier tweet which went viral on July 1, 2020, the man had surprised his wife with a designer bag from Lennox among other nice gifts. But about 6 months after celebrating the birth of his child, Rashad claims he could have been deceived by her.

Nigeria-Man disrupts ex-girlfriend’s date with another and collects wig he bought for her (Video)

A video has surfaced on social media capturing the moment a man angrily yanked off a wig from the head of lady who was on a date.

In the clip, the man stormed the place where the lady who is said to be his ex-girlfriend was having a date with another man.

He accosted her and complained about buying stuffs for her only for her to be wearing the items while going out with a different man.

The ex forcefully removed the wig from her head right in front of the lady’s alleged new boyfriend.

Tragedy-as-a Nigerian man dies on his birthday

 

A 47-year-old Nigerian man based in Canada identified as Nafike Malafa Bala has died on his birthday.

 It was gathered that the University of Jos graduate died on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, which happened to be his birthday.

The circumstances surrounding his death was not mentioned. He is survived by wife, children, mother and siblings. 

 Meanwhile, friends have taken to Facebook to mourn his death. One Peter Olusegun Ogundimu said he spoke to Nafike five hours before his death. 

 "Every death is sad but this one is so so sad & i’m still in utmost disbelief ...............

Hmmmmm !!!! Who knew ??" he wrote. 

Who knew the last time we would see each other was on December 30th at our virtual high school party ???

 Who knew the last time we would chat & cracked jokes was on your birthday, this past Tuesday, January 5th ???

 Who knew I would later get a call at approx. 5 hours later about your demise ???

Charlie Charlie Challenge explained: it's just gravity — not a Mexican demon being summoned

You - or your wayward demonic teens - might have summoned up a malignant Mexican spirit with a couple of pencils. But, thankfully, all is probably well — here's what's really going on in the Charlie Charlie Challenge.

What’s the Charlie Charlie Challenge and where did it come from?

The Charlie Charlie Challenge — or variants of it, known as the pencil game or Charlie pencil — has been around for some time. It’s claimed that the game is an old Mexican tradition, but there’s no trace of that on the internet, but it seems to have been around for years before it took off this week.

To play the game, grab a sheet of paper and draw two lines on it to make a cross. Put a “yes” in the top right and bottom left hand corner, and a “no” in the remaining two.

Then put a pencil right on the line going across. Balance another pencil on top of that, along the line going downwards.

To properly summon the demon, according to the game, you then have to ask “Charlie, Charlie, can we play?”

The pencils should then start moving. If they go to yes, the demon is ready and willing to answer your questions — put the pencil back, and use the same technique to get answers. If it’s a no, then you’ll have to come back later, or try again.

What’s actually moving the pencils?

Gravity, and the awkward positioning of some pencils. They just wouldn't sit still even if you wanted them to.

It’s perhaps scarier than a Ouija board because it doesn’t have the same explanations. With those boards, players have to keep hold of a glass while it moves around the table — so it’s not difficult to imagine that people might be pushing it around without knowing it.

With the Charlie Charlie game, however, nobody is actually touching the pencils. But they are still likely being pushed — the pencils have to be so finely balanced on top of each other that even the slightest movement from a breath or slightly tilted surface will push it around.

The arrangement of pencils that the game requires means that they’ll always move, because it’s just not a natural position for them to be in.

That’s why the game works reliably, to make the demon at least say no — unlike the Ouija board, it doesn’t require people to work, and so the pencils will always move if they’re aligned correctly. But if the friction of the pencils is too much, they just won't move.

If you’d like to debunk the game for yourself, try doing the same thing without the paper and without the incantation. Pencils placed on top of and across each other always move around, whether or not a demon is summoned to push them.

Why does scary stuff happen afterwards?

Afterwards, some have reported strange goings on. Those seem especially scary if people don’t chant the important words “Charlie, Charlie, can we stop?” and say goodbye when the demon says yes.

It’s possible that strange things are happening. But it’s equally likely that after playing the game the brain gets itself into a state that makes it extra suggestible and fearful.

That’s the same thing that makes people more likely to hear strange noises when they’re on their own or in the dark. In both of those situations, people are genuinely more in danger — so the brain think itself into a special fight or flight state that makes it extra-vigilant to noises, so that those dangers can be avoided.

Who is Charlie?

As with most urban legends, the actual fact of who Charlie is seems to vary depending on who’s telling it. Some claim it is a child that took his own life, others a demonic Mexican man with black and red eyes.

The only way to really find out who he is for sure is to play the game and ask him.
