One person was confirmed dead and 4 others seriously gashed when the motive force of a Mark Truck with Registration KK837JJJ lost management whereas in motion on higher Iweka by previous defunct NITEL Onitsha, hit pedestrians and equally bumped into a wheeled vehicle with REG variety FGG455XA at concerning 5pm on Fri, October 2.

According to the state police command advocate, Haruna Muhammad, police operatives connected to rate Onitsha quickly mobilized to the scene and hurried victims to provincial capital hospital wherever the doctor confirmed one person dead on arrival whereas four others ar responding to treatment.
Haruna aforesaid the body of the dead victim has been deposited at the mortuary for scrutiny. He added that the trucker on the loose and energy is being intense to urge him in remission.
Haruna aforesaid the case is currently being investigated to determine the circumstances encompassing the incident.
