A Nigerian woman has raised the bar for other women in relationships this year after she ordered a box which contains iPhone 12 Pro Max, perfumes and other gifts worth N865,000 for her lover ahead of Valentine’s day.

A Twitter user with username @Fel_Steve took to the microblogging platform to share screenshots of the conversation he had with the lady who bought the expensive gifts from him.

In their chat, the female customer told @Fel_Steve that she wanted the N865k box and asked him to list the items in it.

An Anambra based Prophet, Onyeze Jesus, has been captured on camera performing  money ritual on some Nigeria young men in a river.

During the alleged money ritual, the prophet strongly warned them not to dare look back as he prayed for them to be blessed with uncommon wealth.

According to Onyeze Jesus who recited incantations in Igbo language, that act of spraying money into the river was a way of sacrificing to “Agbara”, the marine spirit inherent in the water.

Turbo-Timo-Werner compared to Lengend Didier Drogba

 Chelsea legend Didier Drogba wasn’t a big hit in his first season in Chelsea.

Drogba scored 10 Premier League goals in his debut campaign and 16 goals in all competitions, having played 41 times.

Drogba will eventually end up with a legendary status at the end of his Chelsea career.

Jamie Redknapp has now likened Timo Werner’s case to that of Drogba. The 24-year-old has missed so many good chances since joining the Blues, and his recent miss against Fulham has brought a lot of criticism.

Despite his missed chances, Werner has the attributes of being a top striker, and Redknapp believes he’d eventually come good.

The lower legislative chamber has flawed FG’s directive on public and private schools’ January 18, 2021 resumption date.

The House of Representatives has moved against the Federal Government’s directive of  schools resuming on Monday, January 18, despite the rising of Covid-19.

The lower house, while expressing its concern, wondered why schools were closed when the infection rates were low and below 500, but now that it in a very high rate above 1000 infections daily, schools are being reopened.

This disclosure is contained in a statement titled,“School Resumption: Are We Truly Prepared?”which was issued by the Chairman, House Committee on Basic Education and Services, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Ihonvbere in his statement said that public enlightenment campaigns have more or less stopped, as merely saying that protocol would be adhered to is no guarantee with the situation even being worse in rural areas.

The house, therefore, demanded for the postponement of resumption of schools by 3 months, if some critical steps are not taken, so as to enable the local and state governments put things in place adequately.

He said that apart from Lagos and a couple of other states, governments have been unable to enforce Covid-19 protocols with people no longer wearing facemasks or use sanitisers, especially in secondary schools. There are no facilities for effective social distancing in the classrooms.

She revealed that at some point they were discussing business ideas and it was then that her man spoke about starting a farm in Ghana.

 A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to speak on the glorious powers of God as the Almighty came through for her at a time she needed divine intervention.

She gave a testimony via her Twitter handle @PenuelChuks_ , revealing that her genotype miraculously changed to AA after attending a Christian program.

She had prophesied back in December 2020 that the change will take place, and it indeed happened.

According to the lady, that it was part of her “expectations of 2020” alongside some other health issues.

Although, she did not disclose her former genotype, Penuel shared a medical test result to back her claim of the genotype change to AA.

Conjoined twins from birth has been successfully separated at a University in Ilorin Teaching Hospital (Photos)

 

A set of conjoined female twins have successfully been separated at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.

The operation which took place on Thursday, January 14, was carried out by a team of medical experts in the Kwara-owned medical facility.

According to the Teaching Hospital, the babies were separated by a 66-member team of Nigerian paediatric surgeons, paediatricians, paediatric cardiologist, anaesthetists, cardiothoracic surgeon, nurses, pharmacists, behavioral scientists and many more.

Paediatric surgeon, Prof Lukman Abdul-Rahman led the team which achieved the groundbreaking separation.

A varsity in kaduna sacks lecturer for allegedly hugging female student from behind

 The Kaduna State Varsity, KASU, has terminated the appointment of a lecturer identified as Dr. Idowu Abbas over alleged sexual harassment on female student.

The institution, in a statement by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Abdullahi Ashafa on Friday, also promoted no fewer than 12 lecturers to the rank of Professor while eight others to an Associate Professor’s rank.

According to the statement, Dr. Idowu Abbas, who was a lecturer in the Department of Geography, was said to have hugged a female student from behind against her will when she went to his office for project-related matters.

The Deputy VC (Academic) said the university’s Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee, chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) investigated the alleged sexual harassment against Abbas before relieving him of his job.

He said; “According to the report, Abbas confessed in his testimony to have touched and hugged a female student he was supervising her project from behind against her will when she went to his office to discuss her project.

“His testimonies also revealed other nasty and randy misbehaviour he exhibited to the student.

“This gross misconduct violated Section 8.7 Paragraph (f) of the Administrative and Academic Regulations in Kaduna State University.

“The regulations state that ‘victimization/harassment of student through examination mark is punishable by dismissal and/or termination of appointment.”

“Tinubu should not try it. Tinubu’s ambition will be rubbished and he will be grounded. He would have been at a vantage position, but there is something that will not make it to work,” he stated.

Pigeon released by president buhari didnt fly at Armed Forces Remembrance(Videos)

A situation which occurred on Friday, January 14 at the Armed Forces Remembrance Day ceremony rattled President Muhammadu Buhari a bit as the Pigeons he released refused to fly despite several attempts.

To signal the commemorative moment of the ceremony, the President had opened the birdcage at the National Arcade, picked up one of the birds, and threw it into the air but the bird landed atop the cage and refused to take flight.

Buhari, who was eager to let the white pigeons fly, opened the roof of the cage in a bid to send them all out but the birds remained adamant and decided to sit on top of the cage’s roof.
